Arnie berth structures are considered essential components of port infrastructure, as they are continuously subjected to operational and environmental loads. At Umm Qasr Port in southern Iraq, most marine wharves suffer from structural deterioration due to aging, having been constructed at the beginning of port operations in 1977 to accommodate vessels with capacities of up to 50,000 tons. This condition necessitated comprehensive rehabilitation works to ensure safe and efficient operation. Following the rehabilitation works, this study aims to evaluate the dynamic behavior of Wharf No.(5) under multiple loading scenarios and different berthing conditions. Structural analysis was carried out using STAAD.Pro software, adopting the Winkler model to represent soil–pile interaction in order to achieve a realistic simulation of wharf performance. Additionally, the effect of seabed inclination was incorporated into the numerical model, representing an innovative research effort compared to previous studies. The investigated parameters included combined load cases (dead, live, operational loads, berthing loads, mooring loads, wind, current, and wave loads), as well as berthing-related factors such as fender type, berthing velocity, approach angle, impact location, vessel displacement (weight), and water depth (draft). The analysis focused on determining maximum displacements, stresses, axial forces, shear forces, and bending moments. The numerical results indicated that berthing velocity is the most influential factor affecting the structural response of the wharf, causing an increase in lateral displacement from 42 mm to 58 mm. An increase in the berthing angle resulted in a slight increase in displacement from 43 mm to 43.75 mm. Furthermore, increasing vessel capacity from 50,000 tons to 145,000 tons without channel deepening resulted in a displacement increase of 5%.
