Abstract
In the current changing and complex conditions, construction companies need to use modern management tools to maintain their competitive position and continue their activities. The aim of the research is to combine two management approaches, lean and agile, to achieve the maturity model of construction companies in the Iranian construction industry. The research is applied in terms of purpose, and quantitative in terms of methodology. Multi-criteria decision-making techniques used to analyze the data. The statistical population consisted of employers, managers, and experts of construction companies, 30 of whom selected as samples using purposive sampling, and the data collected using a questionnaire. The most important indicators of the lean approach identified as resource control, training and empowerment, and cost minimization; the most important indicators of the agile approach identified as management commitment, production agility, and supply chain agility; and the most important indicators of the lean-agile approach identified as supply chain integration, just-in-time production, just-in-time sales, and reducing waiting time and costs. It is suggested that focus on reducing waste, increasing efficiency, and flexibility in the project life cycle. This includes regular feedback management, close stakeholder and team collaboration, self-organizing teams, focusing on simplicity and good design, and prioritizing the continuous and rapid delivery of usable parts of the project.
