Evaluation and prioritization of the causes of delay in the completion of Mehr housing project in Kermanshah province

Abstract

The main purpose of this article is to evaluate and prioritize some factors related to the delay in the completion of the Mehr housing project in Kermanshah province. The research method is a survey which, in terms of the objective dimension, is applied to the statistical population including all technical experts of departments and managers of planning and executive bodies of Kermanshah province related to the Mehr housing project with the number of 365 people, which using Cochran's sampling formula, the volume A sample of 187 people was determined. A researcher-made questionnaire was used to collect information. The analysis of the results of the Friedman ranking test showed that at the error level of 0.05, the ranking of the factors affecting the delay in the completion of the Mehr Kermanshah housing construction project is significant from the point of view of the research sample, and the research sample has different ratings of the factors affecting the delay, so that The factor of project costs and expenses with an average of 4.30 has the highest amount and the factor of weakness in project implementation with an average of 2.35 has the lowest amount. Also, the comparison of the average ratings of the factors affecting the delay in the completion of the Mehr Kermanshah housing construction project showed that the highest average rating (8.40) is assigned to the factor of project costs and expenses in grading. From the point of view of policy making and considering that all these factors can be included in the group of management factors, it is necessary to review the management team to reduce the delay in the completion of the Mehr housing project.
